A repeatable workflow
Evaluate a study assistant with one real task
Compare the work you finish, the corrections required and the time spent reviewing.
Choose a task you already understand well enough to evaluate. A familiar lecture or practice question provides a better first test than a high-stakes assignment with an unknown answer. Keep the source material and your original output so the comparison is reproducible.
Work through it
- Define the finished result: for example, ten source-linked revision questions with answers you have checked. Decide what would count as an error before starting.
- Run the task and record setup, drafting and review time separately. Count corrections as part of the work rather than stopping the timer when a draft appears.
- Repeat on a second source with a different format. Review the current plan and account terms before deciding whether the workflow is worth keeping.
Check your result
- The result can be checked against a known source.
- Review and correction time are included.
- Your decision uses the current published plan terms.
