Ace is licensed per person.
One licence covers the Macs one person uses. If several people need it, that is several seats — and today, buying several seats is a conversation rather than a button.
What exists today
The same individual subscription, bought one seat at a time, each with a $1 first week. To put Ace on several desks, email [email protected] with how many seats you need and we will invoice you directly.
What does not exist yet
There is no admin console, no SSO, no central policy control, no seat-management dashboard, and no volume discount schedule. Those are normal things for a business buyer to expect, so it is worth being direct: they are not built. If they are what you need, Ace is not ready for you yet.
What your IT team will want to know
- Signed with an Apple Developer ID (745ZPGFRA5) and notarized by Apple. The SHA-256 of every release is published on the security page.
- No system extension, kernel extension, or MDM profile. Ace can register a visible,
owner-approved Background Service login item for concealed Private Mode recovery. The signed
Uninstall Ace.appunregisters it before removing the app. - Each user brings their own ChatGPT or Claude account, so your organisation's data-processing relationship is with that provider, under whatever agreement you already have with them. We are not in that path and cannot read it.
- Fixed service connections, direct provider processing and task-specific destinations are documented on what leaves your Mac. Ace has no Ace-owned analytics, telemetry or crash reporting; provider-runtime service traffic follows the provider's policy.
- No third-party security audit has been commissioned. Saying otherwise would be untrue.
